About Hoosier Fence Corp.
Our History:
Hoosier Fence Company
was established in 1989, at that time we offered residential and commercial
fences. When vinyl fencing was first introduced into the market, we decided
to focus our attentions on making vinyl fence and other vinyl products
well known to our community. This was a difficult task, considering the
limited amount of manufacturers (at that time), that offered vinyl profiles
in various sizes. We continued to research the market searching for manufactures
who specialized in top quality vinyl profiles made with 100% virgin vinyl.
|
| By 1991,
Hoosier Fence Company was offering six styles of fence and twice the number
of profiles that we had available in 1989. With these additional profiles,
Hoosier Fence Company began to explore the possibilities of vinyl porch
railing. |
| In 1995,
we became a warehouse and distributor for Nebraska Plastics, Inc., also
known as Country Estate Products. At that time we were offering sixteen
styles of fence with multiple profiles to choose from. Once again we set
our sights on manufacturing vinyl porch railing utilizing these new profiles. |
| We introduced
our line of vinyl porch railing, Hoosier Railing Systems, in 1996, which
included four styles: Columbia, Diamond, England & Riverside. All porch
railing styles and components were available in white only. That same year
we also began to offer a complete line of garden products, such as: arbors,
flower boxes, gazebos & park benches. All garden products and Hoosier
Railing styles are now available in white as well as almond and light brown.

Hoosier Fence Company
was incorporated in 1998, and became Hoosier Fence Corporation. That same
year Nebraska Plastics, Inc. introduced new colors of material: almond,
light brown & gray. Hoosier Railing Systems also introduced a fifth
style of railing, the Kirkwood. In 1999, HFC introduced three new decorative
porch post designs: Imperial, Master & Newell. They provide the perfect
compliment to our five different styles of porch railing. These post designs
were patented in the U.S. and Canada in 2000 and 2001.
